Invested in Your Ocular Health

We are proud to offer modern, state-of-the-art technology to help us diagnose, monitor, and treat a variety of ocular conditions and diseases. We strive to provide a high standard of care using specialized equipment to create personalized treatment plans for you.

Our Technology

We believe the way forward is approaching eye care with a tech-forward philosophy. Learn more about the advanced technology we use at Eyecare Studio.

Tonometry

Tonometry is a diagnostic tool used to measure your intraocular pressure (IOP). This can help us determine your risk for developing eye diseases such as glaucoma. At Eyecare Studio, we use the latest in technology – Goldmann tonometry and iCare – to measure your eye pressure. Gone are the days of air being puffed into your eyes! We don’t prefer the puff of air as much as you dread it.

Optos ultra-widefield retinal imaging uses scanning laser technology to give us a 200-degree view of the retina (located in the back of your eye) vs traditional imaging, which may only capture 45 degrees. This process enables our optometrists to detect early signs of eye disease such as diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration.

The retina is the only place in your body where your blood vessels can be viewed directly, giving us the ability to detect certain systemic diseases as well. Some of the first signs of systemic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, stroke and even some cancers can present in your retina, often before you develop other symptoms or are diagnosed.

A thorough retinal screening can help us evaluate your health. Experience fast, painless, and comfortable retinal imaging that is safe and effective for the whole family, including children.

Standard automated perimetry is the gold standard for evaluating a patient’s visual field (peripheral vision) which allows us to diagnose, treat and manage eye diseases such as glaucoma and other visual disorders. Our virtual visual field perimeter immerses you into a virtual world to test your peripheral vision in a more comfortable setting vs the traditional visual field test which can be very uncomfortable and boring!

Optical coherence tomography is a non-invasive scan that captures cross-section images of your retina and optic nerves. These scans help with diagnosis, treatment and management of eye diseases such as glaucoma, diabetic macular edema, and age-related macular degeneration.

We use automated phoropters to determine refractive errors and glasses prescriptions with speed and better accuracy.
